We believe Sycamore Lodge is the best care home you could possibly choose for your loved one.
But don't just take our work for it.
Here are reviews, comments and testimonials from the people who really know what it's like to live here - our resident's and their families.
From Our Residents & Their Families
We just wanted to drop you an email to express our gratitude to your staff member Sonia MacDonald at Sycamore Lodge. After several years of not seeing our father / grandad she has given us the opportunity to contact him on Skype. It means so much to both his NZ family and him. She is a credit to your organisation. Many Thanks.
Following Dolly's funeral on March 24th a collection was taken, in her memory, for Sycamore Lodge Comfort Fund. I am enclosing cheques, to the value of ₤350, which we hope will be used to the benefit of the residents. Dolly always enjoyed listening to the singers who occasionally came to Sycamore Lodge. It would be appropriate to her memory if, atleast, some of this contribution could be put to that use. Yours sincerely.
Thank you so much for all the care and attention you gave to Rex. We will always remember his smile and hope you will too. Take care of yourselfs.
What a great team you are! your hard work, love, care, kindness and support has been commendable! You have all made a difficult time much easier for mum, myself and my family! Nothing has been too much trouble for you. Your friendship, love and hugs has been much appreciated. Thanks again to you all! I will miss you all. Love always.
Thank you for all the help and compassion, I received while in your care, it was an uplifting experience and everyone was helpful during my stay. Once again many thanks!
To all the staff, a very big thank you for all you did for my aunt.
Julie, David and I would like to say how grateful we were for all the work the staff had undertaken to make my mother's hundredth birthday ton a success. We all appreciated their thoughtfulness and kindness. Thank you.
To all staff, could you please pass on my thanks to the staff at your care home. My mother Mrs. Jean Stewart was not in your care for a long time, but in her eyes this was her home. As you all know my mother had dementia and coupled with the fact she could not talk. Whilst she was within your care, my wife and I understand from my mothers wards that she felt safe and secure in your care. I had a chat in the office because we would have liked my mother to stay at your home after her leg was better. My mother actually called her home in Barton as her old home, and because of the care and love gives her yours was thought of as her new home. Again, thank you for the care and support you gave to my mother and to myself and family.
To Pauline and your wonderful team, we just wanted to say a big thank you for the awesome care you gave to Rex. Although we are thousands of miles away, you were always willing to answer our many questions. We would also like to give a big thank you to Sonia who made it possible for us to skype Rex in his final months. This was such a help. Thank you so much.
Thank you everyone for looking after our mum. She was a very special person. Thank you for your caring attitude and dignity you gave her.
